Ahhhhhh. Time for admin work. Including adding another year to this section of the website. I also am reviewing all the accessibility functions on my website. There are a couple photos in there with no alt tags. Uh oh. How did that happen?? Making sure everything passes the new contrast levels. :)

Well. Time to start a new journal! 2026 bby.

I always start with just the brainstorming portion. Then the “Why’s” and then the calendar. And then the visionboard. And then the community.

And that’s what I call a goal that is ready for success!! They take time. Energy. Love. Interaction. I am not about the “set it and forget it” life style. I’m a goal getter! Gotta go get!

Sold out workshop.

Dude. It was. SO. MUCH. FUN.

I’m made out of 50% art. And 50% cheerleading. Graphic design for people’s businesses is a fantastic fit for me. I’ve been at it professionally for 17 years.

But then there is art. That lets adults be kids. That stretches them beyond what’s “good” and “bad” and what shakes up their inner child and brings them joy and curiosity.

And that also hits. It’s still just… Art. And cheering people on.

I do think it’ll be fun to demystify art for people and expand horizons. Just in my spare time. Graphic design is still my go to. ;)

I just had so much fun. My heart and spirit are so full. Thank you all for getting crafty with me!!

It has not stopped being a little anxiety inducing. The workflow has been surprisingly self managing? I have never really had a lull or a day where I didn’t have a project or three. And also it has rarely gotten so crazy I had to turn people away.

One of the best parts of being a graphic designer during Christmas is suddenly all my clients want super personal, customized presents for their loved ones.

Of course I can’t share theirs with yall cause it’s a secret. But in the making of some, I decided to do a little ceramic Christmas ornament for myself too. :)

Christmas gifts are going well!! I LOVE making fun custom things for everyone during Christmas time!! 🩷✨🥳 love all the ideas and love the chance to represent your loved ones. #customchristmasgifts #graphicdesigner #sonomacounty

And yet. I can’t use any fun songs on any my Instagram posts. Sometimes I wish I didn’t have a business account. They really do flip flop with what i can put on here and what I can’t. Is anyone else also annoyed? I get it. But it’s tough. I want to use fun recognizable songs and things in the zeitgeist. But I’m stuck with like 5 happy copyright free songs. Or 10 Christmas songs.

Making some personal Christmas ornaments and had to throw one in for me too. :) I love unpacking the ornaments and seeing trips and memories and firsts. 🩷🩷✨ I still have the ornament I got when I learned how to drive. And the very first ornament I got on my own as an adult. I have Canada trips and new jobs-! It’s so much fun to get a new one every year. The tree ends up being a story of us. And I love making collages for others to have the same feeling. A story of them. ✨🥳

I woke up Monday and I was launched headfirst into HOLIDAYS.

I’ve been working on my holiday cards and everyone has started as well.

I am drawing Christmas lights, snowflakes, party hats, and pine needles every day!
